AMERICAN SYMBOLS

The American flag is often called “The Stars and Stripes”. There are three colors on the flag of United States – red, white and blue. AS there are 50 states, there are 50 stars in American flag: one star for each state. The American flag has thirteen stripes. The stripes are red and white. The flag has seven red stripes and six white stripes. There is one stripe for each of the first thirteen colonies of the United States.
People must know many things about the flag, for example: you should display it only during the day and you should fond it in a special way. In some schools there is a flag in each classroom, and children stand in fond of the flag every day. You can see American flag in shops and offices, in the streets and squares, and small towns and in big cities. You can see pictures of the American flag in newspapers and magazines. Americans are proud of their flag and display it in many places. One of the most symbols of the USA is the Statue of Liberty.

Franc gave to statue to America in 1884 as a symbol of friendship. The Statue is in New York on Liberty Island. It is one of the first things people see when they arrive in New York by sea.

The eagle became the official national symbol of the country in 1782. It has an olive branch (a symbol of peace) and arrows (symbols of strength). You can see the eagle on the back of a dollar bill.
The United States of America has an official song too. It is called “The Star – Spangled Banner”.
Every state in the USA has its own flag, its own symbol and its own song too.

KNOWLEDGE THREE




My name is Arthur. I live in Yerevan. I’m 15. Most of all I like my family. My family consists of 5 members. I have a parents, sister and brother. I have many pats. My pets are funny parrots and a dog. I like gardening and I take care off many threes and flowers in our garden. I like the days off, as I have a lot of free time to pass with my family. I like to red different books in my free time. I have hobby. My hobby is boxing. I am study in school “Micael Ganyan”. My school is one of the best schools in Yerevan, because here the number students are very small, and our schools director is usually organized interesting and different programs-sports, educational, art.

1. BOOKS.

I like many books but my favourite book is Robinson Crusoe. Robinson Crusoe is a novel by Daniel Defoe first published in 1719 and sometimes regarded as the first novel in English. The book is a fictional autobiography of the title character, an English castaway who spends 28 years on a remote tropical island near Venezuela, encountering Native Americans, captives, and mutineers before being rescued. This device, presenting an account of supposedly factual events, is known as "false document" and gives a realistic frame story.

2. MUSIC.
My favourite music is the rhythmic and modern music. I listen to music in my free time and I like to dance. The music is part of my life and without music life is sad. The rhythmic music always cheers up.






3. FAVOURITE SINGER.


My favourite singer is Garou.
Pierre «Garou » was born on June, 26th, 1972 near to Quebec in a musical family. In three years parents have presented a guitar, and already after two years the boy has started to master the piano and body. Pierre spends a youth, playing music in night clubs, and having come back home at daybreak, with sunrise, goes on street where undertakes any work: drags furniture or earns additionally the collector of grapes. Friends, having noticed passion of the guy to a night life and hobbies for various styles of music, nickname it Garou - "Werewolf" (from the French expression loup-garou - "wolf-werewolf").

4. VIDEO GAMES.



We can play video games in free time. Video games are helped us to have a fine time and to pass our time very interesting. I’m play video games in my free time. Video games make our intellect more educated. My favourite game is the GTA.




















5. INTERNET.




Today internet is a mean part of our life. It’s considered resource of information. With internet we can have a lot of information about different things which are exist in the world. By internet we can have acquaintance and find new friends.

6. TV.

TV is a great information resource in our life. Watching TV we get different news which are exist and happened in the world.
















7. COMPUTER.


Computer is the main think by which we have contact with internet. By computers we can have a new programs and contacts. It’s difficult to create and make some think for businessmen.
